are far superior to other closures for many reasons. It cost less
than half the cost of rubber. There is 80% less labor expense than
cement. Metal is consistent in color, and allows proper drainage. It
keeps the first course of tile straight, and is much faster to
install. Cosmetically metal is superior due to consistency in color
and uniformity.
Our newly re-engineered Tile Closure Metal gives your end user advantages in installation and quality never before available. We've made all our metal overlap 1". This means no more butt to butt installs. Adjustments can be made for proper tile set to profile. The adjusting area is in the flat of the profile. This allows the roofer to set tiles to his or her liking, and progression adjustments can be made every 10'. Plus, no more wasting a full progression (like our competitiors product) to obtain an overlap. The "Advantage" also provides 1/2" & 5/8" weepholes for superior drainage, wider nailing deck and nailing holes for ease of installation, are clearly stamped with our name and profile, and like the rest of our products are only made of high quality painted galvalume.
