For approximately 40 + years the company sold coal for different purposes including heating. After coal became a less popular industrial commodity, the

company moved to its Kennedy Boulevard location and changed its business focus to accommodate the roofing and construction needs of the community. It was not until January of 1999 that the latest move to the two new locations was successfully made. TAMCO remains a leading wholesaler for roofing and landscaping materials.
